Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose.

I have a confession to make…I’m a compulsive list maker and I love a good, old fashioned, paper list. I know, I know, it goes against all sustainable ways. Trust me, I’m working hard to train myself to utilize the digital note pad on my iPhone. But nothing beats taking pen to paper and writing out my to-do list. Oh, and crossing it off?! That’s the best part!

In an effort to make my not-so-sustainable guilty pleasure less guilty, I use all parts of the paper, until there’s nothing left but a mess of crossed out scribbles. I then recycle my lists, and always seek out notepads that have some form of recycled parts. That’s why this week’s holiday gift idea is perfection for all the list makers, note takers, and journal keepers out there.

Edit>Redo is a collection of upcycled notebooks made from reclaimed media sleeves. My first Edit>Redo notebook was gifted to me in 2018 and I’ve been a fan ever since. The notebook covers are a greatest hits collection of movies, LPs, TV shows, and more––well made by a Minneapolis based local crafter and artisan. Bonus: they are super affordable. So if you’re in need of a fun yet practical gift, look no further than Edit>Redo!

This holiday season, and always, please remember to shop small and shop local. Small businesses need your support in these difficult times!
