About

A former professional dancer, I spent years in front of a mirror, striving to perfect every movement my body was capable of making. Often being told I wasn't enough, working to “fix” my perceived imperfections became a normalized part of daily life.

Over the years, despite my struggles with body image, lingerie always felt like an empowering ritual. It was something special; just for me. Something that helped me to feel beautiful in my body, regardless of outside opinions or even my own.

Why

I believe there is power in what we wear closest to our skin. I know this firsthand, in the shift in posture that comes from putting on a well-fitting set, or the confidence that exudes in knowing you’re wearing something beautiful underneath. 

But I struggled to find lingerie that was comfortable, beautiful, breathable, and made with materials that I could trust. No brand was holding all of these. So, as a frustrated customer first and foremost, I decided to build one. I wanted to create a solution that truly met the needs of women, while also aligning with the needs of our planet, so alongside a master’s degree, design certificates, and a career pivot into sustainability, Petal + Ash was born.

Lingerie helped me come home to my body. I want to help you do the same.

Your undergarments shouldn’t be made from fossil fuels. That’s why we use materials and dyes free from synthetics and harsh chemicals. Because what touches your skin first should breathe with your body.
