Petal + Ash launches Fall 2026. We're wrapping development, and preparing to move into manufacturing. We want every piece to meet the standards we've set before it reaches your top drawer. Rushing construction just to hit a date doesn't align with the principles of slow fashion.

At launch, Petal + Ash will ship within the continental United States only. We're a small, mindful brand, and we'd rather do US shipping right before expanding further.

International shipping is on our radar as we grow, so if you're outside the US, join our email list and we'll let you know the moment that changes.

We're launching with two styles: a soft cup bra and a thong, in sizes XS–XL.

Petal + Ash was born to help women come home to their bodies through beautiful + breathable lingerie. While a growing business, we are only just launching and (like most small businesses) face budgetary constraints. Starting small was a deliberate choice. It's how we make sure every piece meets our standards and works best with your body, before we ask you to trust us with more.

Our growth roadmap includes more diverse styles and sizing, to be more inclusive of all body types. 

Our hero fabric is a Seacell™/Lyocell™ blend. The fibers are responsibly harvested from Iceland's fjords, and blended with a wood-based solution harvested from sustainably certified forests. The fibers are processed in a closed-loop system, meaning nothing toxic is released.

Our garments are sewn with Tencel™ thread, and get their stretch from elastics made from natural rubber and organic cotton.

We hand dye our garments with natural, plant-based dyes.

Our hardware is nickel-free metal and nylon coated.

A note about our hardware: We tried to remove all synthetics, but we had some issue with metal hardware reacting with natural dyes. And for our H&E, as a small brand we don’t yet have access to working with custom materials. So we chose beautiful, functional garments over ideologically perfect ones, and are committed to better options as we grow.

Every Petal + Ash piece is made in Portugal with our amazing manufacturing partner chosen for their skills with lingerie and premium materials.

Our materials are sourced close by across Portugal, France, and Austria. The journey from fiber to finished garment stays within a regional radius before it reaches you, to minimize our carbon footprint.

Our pieces are then hand-dyed in small batches in Pennsylvania and NYC.

Petal + Ash pieces are constructed with premium materials, sewn by skilled hands in Portugal, and botanically dyed here in the US.

Our garments are made in limited runs, to avoid overproduction, and made by people who were paid fairly, from materials that return to the earth instead of outliving you in a landfill.

Petal + Ash is a small brand with big ambitions. Full product-level certification is expensive, the kind of cost that usually gets passed down to bigger companies with bigger budgets. We're working towards that.

In the meantime, all of our individual components already carry their own third-party certifications, providing verified backing behind our claims.

No. Compostable doesn't mean fragile. Composting only happens under the right microbial environment found in food or yard scraps and soil, not in your drawer or on your skin.

Worn and cared for properly, your Petal + Ash pieces are built to last. Only when a garment finally wears out, should return to the earth.

A note on composting our pieces:
Hardware and the bra hook & eye will need to be cut off before composting. The rest of the garments can be home composted or buried in soil. Decomposition rates will vary based on your climate. Most industrial composting does not currently accept textiles. We hope this will change in the future.
